Retired Chief Justice Endorses Ford

James A. Andersen, retired Chief Justice of the State of Washington Supreme Court, a former chief judge of the Court of Appeals (Div. I), and a founding director of the Washington Coalition for Open Government (WCOG):

"I strongly endorse Tim Ford for the Court of Appeals, Division Two.  Tim is an outstanding lawyer and will make an outstanding judge.  He is an intelligent, hard working individual who will apply the law and follow precedent in a principled manner.  Tim’s experience in both private practice and the State Attorney General’s office gives him the broad experience needed on the court.  Tim Ford is a person of character and integrity who will ensure that the courts hold individuals accountable under the law, while protecting legal rights."
